I don't know how, but Ms. Caine finds way to constantly and consistently ramp up the tension and anticipation in each book! Bishop is the biggest baddie and I'm seriously concerned about him taking over the town. It was fascinating to watch the factions forming. Humans who thought they could get rid of the vampires turn on Amelie and become pawns of Bishop. Oliver allying with Amelie to help battle Bishop. And Myrnin remaining the wild card in everything. Claire and her friends once again try to save the day and stay alive. The return of Shane's dad spells epic trouble in the next book. The cliffhanger ending makes it impossible not to pick up the next book as soon as I finish this review!

This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I kept rushing through my work to get back to it. It was a rollercoaster of emotions traveling at hyper speed. The tension never let up for more than a minute. Every time I started to think people were in the clear, nope, something worse happened! The face-off with Bishop was epic. Totally worth sticking around for this book. Claire and Shane's relationship went to another level of love and it sweet and beautiful in the maelstrom of events around them. There were losses that brought tears to my eyes and twists in the plot that left me gasping. I don't know how Ms. Caine threads all these subplots together, but she does it so well! I'm off to start the next book!

This contains the 5th & 6th books in the Morganville Vampires series. Try Glass Houses 1st, because if you love the storyline & characters as much as I did, you'll want to buy the 1st 8 volumes in a 4-book set of large paperbacks. Yesterday I ordered the next 6. You can also read each 1 separately on , but they are so good, you'll want a copy on your shelves.
These books are amazing. I always get my books 3-4 days ahead of schedule and it's always in perfect condition i love the cheap price i mean ten dollars for two books is amazing!! Deff get these books they are better than twilight, the vampire diaries and all these other vampire books.
The Morganville Vampire series is so much better than that other one that got all the publicity. I was hooked with the first page of the first book and have started two other people on this series. Love them.
I really like the Morganville Vampires series. The books are well written and fun to read. The only thing I would like to see in the books is a little more variety. They are basically one main problem/adventure per book, and a few more story lines, even small ones, would be good. I would recommend this series to anyone. It is overall good reading.
I purchased book one and was hooked. After that I went back and got 2-6. I am currently waiting on 7-10 to come right now. There are 13 total so I will be getting those next. It is one of those that you just can't put down. And when you finish it, you grad the next one in the series because you can't wait for the story to continue. I will be checking out other books by her when I am done with the Morganville series.

Again, intense and constant never stop action page after page. So Emotional. I absolutely love the main characters Claire, Shane, Eve and Michael. You feel their genuine love for one another in this bizarre town of Morganville as well as feel despair, hope, sadness and joy. Best Vampire series I have ever read and I am already reading volume 4.....And I have to say I STILL LOVE MY MYRNIN and ALL his oddities...lol...I recommend Morganville Vampires to everyone...Rachel Caine...love ya work and keep em coming!!!!!!
